i have a proposition
for a preposition
(with is its name,
we is the pronoun
oh so hardly used)
(it waves hello in the hall
but says nothing)
hey you, by the chair,
(standing, leaning over
to assist someone at their desk)
my friend says
he wants you.
i enjoy your little dance, you know?
because its like a reference point
really puts things in perspective, you know?
(my other friend says
she wants him (but
she has him))
(different pronouns at work here,
but the point is the same)
but im happy, i guess.
because this time
the you in this poem
is not you
with a capital Y
(which is a proper noun)
